The Behaviour Consultant typically holds a Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field and has extensive experience providing behaviour intervention services to individuals on the spectrum. Our Behaviour Consultants are also Board Certified by the BACB. That is, they have completed a practicum under the supervisor of a BCBA, and have written their certification exam. Our Behaviour Consultant is listed on the RASP List as a Category A Consultant. The Behaviour Consultant works with the client’s family and community service providers to create the client’s goal plan or the client’s behaviour plan of intervention. The behaviour consultant is responsible for the goals on the client’s goal plan and oversees program writing, program implementation, and staff training.

A Behaviour Interventionist typically holds or is pursuing an undergraduate degree in a social services field (ie. psychology, social work, early childhood care). Our Behaviour Interventionists take part in regular professional development workshops as well as receive ongoing supervision from a BCBA.
